A5 notebook covered with silk ribbon woven on our Victorian looms in a creative collaboration with Jane Austen’s House.
Inspired by the colours and collection of the House, these exclusive edition ribbons have been designed and woven at the Mill, breathing new life into the critically endangered craft of silk ribbon weaving. You can find out more about the project here.
All our notebooks have been made using traditional bookbinding techniques and made with ethically sourced papers and raw materials. The corner triangles in the top right-hand side are missing on our newest notebook launch because the small pieces of cardboard that would have been there have been donated to local schools to create recycled paper.
