Handwoven Scarf - Orange

Wound, warped and now hand woven here at the Mill. Woven in a honeycomb structure, a navy warp with a bright orange weft colour. 100% spun silk for a soft and cosy end result. Each scarf has been fringed by hand in house by our weaving team.

Woven dimensions approximately 150 x 30cm.

Joseph Watts was the last of the handloom weavers at the Mill in the 20th Century, working beyond the age of 70. His loom and bobbin winder can still be seen today on our top floor. It is so important to us to maintain these skills as part of our efforts to pass on heritage skills to future generations. And the outcomes are stunning!

Care advice: Dry clean only. Due to the weave structure, there could be some shrinkage when heat or chemicals are applied. Take care not to catch zips, jewels on the weave structure.
